I’m Sivan, and welcome to AresOtis.

When I first started doing art, man, I was just doodling on a sticky note at the T-Mobile right here in my hometown, CLT.

One day, a lady walks in, sees me sketching, and grabs my sticky note right out of my hand.

She looks at it and says,

“Why not put it on something bigger?”

Of course, at the time, I was stuck on the gumption of this lady grabbing my sticky note mid-sketch.

But what she said made sense.

I thought about it for the rest of the day.

Something bigger.

At first, I thought she meant a bigger piece of paper.

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized maybe she was talking about something bigger than that.

Maybe the art could become something bigger.

Maybe the idea could become something bigger.

Maybe I could become something bigger.

That little sticky note became more than a doodle to me. It became a reminder that sometimes all you need is for somebody to look at what you're creating and say,

“Why not?”

That’s where AresOtis begins.

Not with perfection.

Not with knowing exactly where this is going.

Just with the willingness to put what's inside of you onto something bigger.

And hopefully, along the way, inspire somebody else to do the same.
